Basic Beading and Jewelry Making Techniques
I cover a lot of the basics in each of my jewelry making classes as a way of making them beginner-friendly. But if you really want to get comfortable with the bare basics of making your own jewelry, this is the class!

Basic Beading
Total cost, including materials, $45 per person
Available as a one-on-one class with individual instruction at my home studio for $140
With this introductory class, you'll learn to navigate the basic tools of beading and the bare bones of wire manipulation and using findings, chain, and nylon-coated beading wire to create your own beaded jewelry. We'll also talk about how to select beads and where to find them.
Students will have the use of basic tools during class, and will also have access to beads and base metal/surgical steel findings and a selection of beads - nothing to buy before class! Students are welcome to bring their won beads to work with. Students will get handouts and hands-on instruction, and will have time to make three projects in class - some students choose to do a necklace, bracelet, and earrings, though options are available for students who want to focus on earring or necklace construction.
