Images of my own Fiber Art, Art Quilts, and Surface Design on Fabric

I have been working with fabric since I got my first sewing machine (age 5) and made my first "quilt" (also age 5).  That first quilt was for a doll, and was a hodge-podge of fabric squares tacked down to a scrap from my mom's old quilted robe.  The first Halloween costume I ever made? I was in middle school, didn't use a pattern, waited until the last minute to finish it, and still had a pretty cool fairy costume - with a zipper!

While my execution has improved a great deal (and my time-management skills have improved slightly), I still bring that spontaneous, experimental, pattern-free approach to my work.
