One-on-One Coaching: Creative Flow

Most of my workshops are really designed around group interaction - but sometimes, you just want one-on-one attention so that you can really get the skills down or address areas of specific concern.  I offer individual instruction in encaustic painting, but I also offer individual coaching sessions in Creative Flow.

One-on-one coaching sessions in Creative Flow are designed for both aspiring and working artists who want to be more creative, authentic and joyous in their artmaking.  You might be looking to address a block, negotiate a change in direction, or start making art after a long fallow period.  I can guide fledgling artists in learning to listen to their intuition and help experienced artists reconnect with that authentic voice and find their flow.  Initial sessions are three hours, and include both talking and active hands-on artmaking.  Follow-up sessions are two to three hours, depending on the need of the client.

Instruction is held at my home studio, Hearth, in SE Portland, OR.  The studio is located on SE 119th between Powell and Division, with easy access by car from I-205 or I-84, by bike from a nearby Max Station, or by bus from either the Powell or Division lines.  The exact address will be given at registration.

Sessions are 2-3 hours long, and include a mix of conversation and hands-on artmaking.  All art materials are included.  I prefer to schedule on weekdays and weekend days between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.  Two hour sessions are $140, three hour sessions and initial sessions are $195. (Note: a 50% deposit may be required to hold your time.  Your deposit will not be refunded if you cancel with less than 48 hours notice.)

This is not therapy, and I do not claim to be a therapist. These are sessions to guide your inner growth as an artist. I only work with a few people each year, and will want to talk with you to determine if we're a good fit.  Before scheduling an initial session, I'll want to schedule a free 20-minute phone conversation so we can get to know each other better.
